Twelfth Night

Costume & Set Designer: Ella Barraclough

This was one of the productions I worked on during my time on the Playhouse Prize Placement.

I worked in the Nottingham Playhouse costume department with the costume team, as a wardrobe assistant. For this particular show I helped with sewing, sampling, constructing garments and decorations. I also went along to the fittings and meetings with the designer, where we tried on costumes, pinned any amendments and made notes of them, discussed the costume outcomes with the designer and handled any issues on site. Another role I was involved in was the tech week, where I watched the dress/tech run and kept an eye out for any costume issues/amendments needed, and completed any small/minor amendments on site.
